Step by Step. Tummy talker

This summer we purchased a step by step communicator for our girl. It has 3 levels. We have the first level set for her to play messages to her classmates and teachers. The second level is for them to record her day for me. The last level is a play level we use at home.

We got video tonight of her using it. I was amazed at how she adapts to what she can and cannot do. When she couldn't get her hands to work she moved it to her chest and would press it by leaning forward. She is so awesome. I can't wait to use this more with her. Plan on more videos!

Waiting on my ride!

We got a little video of Abby yesterday while we were waiting for her bus that was 30 minutes late. Her wheelchair got bus approved today so we no longer have this kid kart but she loves our little play catch game we do with her in it. She is so cute!Enjoy!

My babies

The kids will be going back to school this week and we have been running around like crazy trying to get them ready. Yeah for school! Yeah for Mommy!
These two just love each other. 12 years apart and they are so sweet.

And they are both goofballs. I love to watch them together. Abby will be in her last year of preschool and my boy will be a junior. Next year I will have one in Kindergarden and one a Senior. No wonder I am getting gray hair!

Abby's fun amazement

Here is a short video from the wiggles show on Saturday. It was the first song and we wanted to get her reaction to them actually singing and being in front of her. I think her response is priceless.

Abby meets The Wiggles!!!!

We had a great time today, The meet and great was very nice and everyone was very gracious. The Wiggles were extremely nice guys and put on a great show.
There was about a dozen families so we didn't get any real one on one time but they were still wonderful. We got them a gift and wrote them a letter and threw in a few Rett Syndrome-Girl Power 2 Cure Cards. Here are all the pics.
A very special thank you to Mrs Green for making this happen for us. We will never forget you!
